Who may use Konfetti Camera

You must be old enough to consent in your country, and at least 13. If you're a minor, you may only use Konfetti Camera with a parent or guardian's permission.

If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. Hosts are responsible for the guests they invite and for the content captured at their events.

Your account

Guests join an event with a display name and an anonymous account; hosts sign in with an email address. Keep your access secure, and tell us at hello@konfetticamera.app if you believe your account was used without your permission.

Using the service

You may create events, invite guests, and capture photos within your event's limits (guest capacity and shots per person). The app uses your camera — and, if you allow it, an approximate place name (never precise GPS) — only while you're using it.

Don't photograph people who have asked you not to, and only capture content you have the right to share.

Your content & the licenses you grant

You keep ownership of the photos you take. To run the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide licence to host, store, process, and display your photos to event members according to the event's settings (including keeping them sealed until the reveal).

By taking photos at an event you grant that event's host access to view and download the album. At a branded or corporate event — disclosed to you at join time — the event's photos become the host's assets; you can still download your own photos.

The host decides whether guests can download each other's photos, and can hand-pick specific photos for everyone to download. Whatever the host chooses, you can always download the photos you took yourself.

We claim no ownership of your content, and we don't use your photos for advertising or to train AI.

Acceptable use

Don't upload content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, infringing, or non-consensual; don't photograph people who've declined; and don't reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse the service or other users.

We and event hosts may remove content and remove participants who break these rules. See our Content & Moderation Policy for details.

Payments

Paid event capacity and add-ons are sold either through the App Store (processed by Apple under its terms) in the iOS app, or directly by us for larger and brand events through our payment provider. We don't receive your full card details.

Purchases are tied to a specific event. Refunds follow the policy of the store you purchased through, or our direct-sale terms for larger events — except where the law gives you additional rights.

App Store terms (iOS)

If you use the iOS app, you also agree to Apple's standard licensed-application terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

Copyright

If you believe content on Konfetti Camera infringes your copyright, email hello@konfetticamera.app with the work concerned, where the content appears, your contact details, and a good-faith statement. We remove infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Konfetti Camera is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant event in the prior six months (or a nominal amount if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent allowed.

Indemnity

You agree to cover claims and costs arising from the content you capture, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You can stop using Konfetti Camera at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms or for legal reasons. Provisions that should survive — including licences you've already granted, disclaimers, and liability limits — continue after termination.

Changes, governing law & contact

We may update the service and these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date; continued use after a change means you accept it.

We'll first try to resolve any dispute informally — contact hello@konfetticamera.app. These Terms are governed by the applicable law where Konfetti Camera operates, and the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence still apply.
